Sign up as a caregiver, or have your NudgeWell member designate you — either way you'll get a weekly digest of preventive-care reminders, FSA deadlines, and claim alerts tied to their plan.
Who this is for
The Caregiver Nudge Track is built for anyone who helps manage a NudgeWell member's benefits — from across town or across the country.
Your parent's plan renews in October, their FSA resets in January, and their EAP is sitting unused. Get a weekly digest so the right reminder reaches the right inbox.
Co-manage the family plan: HSA contribution windows, preventive visit follow-up, and claim-appeal deadlines that fall during open enrollment.
Stay ahead of denials and appeal deadlines for the conditions that show up on claims. The digest surfaces appeal windows before they close.
With the member's written permission, receive a scoped benefits digest for one or more NudgeWell members on your caseload.
Two ways to enroll
Either path takes about a minute. We never share the member's medical record or PHI with caregivers — only benefits reminders tied to the member's plan.
The NudgeWell member invites you from inside their portal. You don't need a NudgeWell account — the digest lands in your regular inbox.
You start enrollment from your side. The member just confirms by email — they don't need to install anything new.
What you'll receive
One email per week summarizing the benefits reminders that matter most. No medical records, no PHI, no marketing — just the categories you selected, scoped to the member's plan.
Annual physicals, age-appropriate screenings (mammogram, colonoscopy, diabetic eye exam), and preventive visits the member's plan covers.
Use-it-or-lose-it windows (60-day and 30-day urgency), HSA contribution limits, and year-end planning reminders for the member's plan.
When a claim denial hits the 7-stage appeal ladder, we surface the appeal window before it closes so the right person can act in time.
Employee Assistance Program sessions available, unused wellness-app subscriptions (Calm, Headspace), and end-of-year EAP resets.
Privacy first
Caregivers get a benefits digest. They never get the member's medical record, never see the member's conditions, and never see the contents of denied claims. Category opt-outs and one-click unsubscribe are in every email.
Caregivers see benefits reminders tied to the member's plan — never diagnoses, conditions, lab results, or claim content. Medical records stay with the member.
The member decides which categories the caregiver receives from inside their portal (Preventive, FSA, Claims, EAP). Changes take effect immediately.
Every caregiver email includes an unsubscribe link. The caregiver also has a magic-link "manage" page to view and adjust what they receive.
Is NudgeWell HIPAA-compliant?
Yes. NudgeWell operates under a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with Neon (Supabase). PHI fields on member records are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, and every PHI read is logged to an audit trail. Caregivers never receive PHI — only benefits reminders, which are derived from plan metadata rather than the member's medical record.
Does the caregiver see the member's medical information?
No. Caregivers receive a weekly digest of benefits reminders tied to the member's plan (preventive visits, FSA deadlines, claim-appeal windows, EAP) — not the member's diagnoses, conditions, lab results, or claim contents. NudgeWell treats this separation as a hard line; design and access controls enforce it.
Can one caregiver support more than one NudgeWell member?
Yes. Each member you support is a separate caregiver subscription, with its own confirmation link, category opt-outs, and unsubscribe flow. You can receive the weekly digest for as many members as you've enrolled with — they arrive as separate emails clearly labeled by member.
Can a NudgeWell member designate more than one caregiver?
Yes. The member can add any number of caregivers from inside the portal — each with its own confirmation link and category restrictions. A common setup is a spouse for FSA reminders and an adult child for claim appeals, with different opt-outs for each.
What if the member isn't on NudgeWell yet?
The self-opt-in path requires the member to be a NudgeWell member. If you don't see their plan on file, ask them to sign up first (most enroll through their employer's HR portal, and some plans let you sign up directly). Once they're in, you can complete enrollment from your side in under a minute.
How do I unsubscribe or change what I receive?
Two ways. The member can adjust your category opt-outs inside their NudgeWell portal at any time. You can unsubscribe yourself using the "manage subscription" link in any caregiver email, or by replying with "unsubscribe" in the subject. Both take effect immediately.
Two minutes to set up. Cancel anytime from inside the portal or any email we send.
