No. NudgeWell wellness programs are designed to be privacy-first. Employees choose whether to connect Google Fit / Health Connect for personalized nudges based on activity and sleep data. All health data stays with the employee and is never shared with the employer.
NudgeWell sends timed, relevant nudges based on the employee's benefits profile and behavior. For example, an employee with an FSA balance and low activity data might receive a gym-reimbursement reminder. Nudges are personalized by segment — proactive, passive, reactive, or disengaged — to maximize relevance and response.
Each program page clearly distinguishes between employer-covered and employee-covered services. For services that require out-of-pocket payment, employees are informed of FSA/HSA eligibility and given the option to use pre-tax dollars. No surprise billing.
